The Oberlin Queer Wellness Coalition, or OQWC, aims to increase communication and awareness at Oberlin College about the full scope of wellness issues facing LGBTQQIA people.  We will promote events including, but not limited to, presentation of resources and information, sponsorship of events and exhibitions, and creation of safe spaces for open discussion in order to enrich the health and vitality of the queer community of Oberlin College.

Trans Day of Remembrance: Open mic and Vigil

Sunday, November 20th in the Edmonia Lewis Center at 6:00pm

Come remember and celebrate the lives of those who have been victims of transphobic violence.  We invite you to share music, readings, etc as a part of the ope mic and ask that individuals who will be performing/sharing come half an hour early, at 7:00pm.  This event is sponsored by the Transgender Advocacy Group, The Edmonia Lewis Center for Women and Transgender People, and the Multicultural Resource Center.
