The Oberlin Queer Wellness Coalition, or OQWC, aims to increase communication and awareness at Oberlin College about the full scope of wellness issues facing LGBTQQIA people.  We will promote events including, but not limited to, presentation of resources and information, sponsorship of events and exhibitions, and creation of safe spaces for open discussion in order to enrich the health and vitality of the queer community of Oberlin College.
Come join OQWC at the ‘Sco this Tuesday! Here are all the deets. Come join the Rhinos and friends as we spend a night celebrating the life of Rachel “Prospie” Avcioglu and raise money to donate to GLSEN (the Gay Lesbian Straight Education Network) in her memory. This event is gonna be ragin’ and full of Rachel’s spirit, so come out and celebrate with us!There will be a sliding scale required donation at the door of $2-5, with FREE BEER, root beer, and snacks inside. DJ Becca Kahn Bloch will be providing the Top 40 tunes for you to get down on, and we’ll be hosting a raffle with sweet prizes, including but not limited to: 3 posters for Everyone is Gay signed by Kristin and Dannielle, topless Rhino calendars, and lots of glitter.
